Psalms 17:1 “Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips”.
God answers prayers, He is attentive to those who draw near to Him, in spirit and in truth. The psalmist in today’s text declares that his prayers are not from feigned lips, that is, he prays because he means it.
Many today pray because they are cajoled to pray, some do not even know what they ask for, unless you really need (not just want) what you ask for, God might not grant such requests. Pray with understanding.
Talk to God: Father, please teach me to pray with understanding in Jesus name, amen.
