2 Chronicles 7:14a “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray…”
Another reason why people find it difficult to pray is pride. It takes a humble heart to call to God and submit to Him that we cannot handle a situation on our own, and this is what God requests from all who would trust Him to see them through.
If you cannot humble yourself before God, do not expect Him to interfere in your affairs, He resists the proud. You need to come to the end of yourself and let God have His way, be humble.
Talk to God: Father, please grant me a heart of humility to always call on you in Jesus’ name, amen.
