Topic: Using the Prayer Weapon Wisely
I Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
We have learnt how prayer could be used a potent weapon to pull down strongholds of the devil, however, a Christian must be mindful of how he uses this spiritual weapon. An important thing to do before engaging in any warfare is to knowing who the enemy is, and the bible is clear about this.
The devil is the chief adversary of every genuine child of God, He is cunning and subtle, which is why vigilance is key to your victory over Him. When you engage in Spiritual warfare, be careful not to set your fellow humans as target, God does not want any man to perish, instead, resist the devil.
Talk to God: Father, teach me to use the weapon of prayer wisely in Jesus’ name, amen.
