1st Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
As we examine different types of obedience, we see how some are not obedience at all, but disobedience disguised. One of such is partial obedience, doing only what one likes out of the instruction.
Today’s text is clear on God’s view of partial disobedience, no believer should be caught in its web. Carefully listen and obey, this is what God asks of His children.
Talk to God: Father, help me to never disobey you in Jesus name, amen.
