Genesis 28:20 “And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,”
The call of Jacob, as of many others was unexpected, God wanted to have a relationship with Him and to bless Him, but He agreed to serve God on the condition that God first fulfills what He has promised.
God is not a man that He should lie, you should never question His faithfulness, and so when He instructs, there is need for instant obedience. He will not fail, do not fail Him.
Talk to God: Father, help me to instantly obey you without conditions in Jesus name, amen.
