Genesis 22:12 “And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.”
Some tests we encounter may not directly question our faith, but in turn check if we have any doubt whatsoever in God. Abraham was tested to the point where he wanted to truly sacrifice Isaac, it would have taken a matter of seconds if God did not stop him.
Abraham was prepared to lose his precious son. Can you like Paul (in Philippians 3:7) count those gain as loss?
Talk to God: Father, please prepare my life to be covenanted unto you forever in Jesus name, amen.
