II Chronicles 7:14a “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray…”
Prayer is a means by which a man acknowledges his lowly estate and helplessness and reaches out to God for help. According to today’s text, it takes an humble man to pray. When we pray, we open invite God into our situations to turn things around, His supernatural arm are available to reach what we cannot by ourselves.
A man might find it hard to pray if he thinks he is capable of handling every situation by himself, when you pray, you put God in His right position, above your situation. A challenge that does not take the place of God in your life cannot rule over you; call unto God always.
Talk to God: Father, give me a heart of humility to always remember to call unto you in Jesus name, amen.
