The Right Time to Pray

Theme: Prayer 2
Topic: The Right Time to Pray

Romans 12:12 (ESV) “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”

There are times when prayer seems very necessary, because of the situations we find ourselves in; whereas other times, we feel complacent, things are working smoothly, there would be less need for prayer. This opening text teaches us, however, to be ‘constant’ in prayer.

Just as Christ teaches to pray ceaselessly, the right time to pray is every time. God is never too busy to listen when you call. Perhaps the best time for you to pray is when you begin to feel prayer is not necessary, the devil might be at his tricks again! So watch, and pray constantly.

Talk to God: Father, ignite in me the fire of constant prayer in Jesus’ name, amen.
