2 Peter 1:5 “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;”
Faith in God is that with which we establish a foundation of salvation but a building is not only made up of the foundation, we need to keep working to build right on the right foundation.
Today’s text shows some of the building blocks for a standing salvation. You might have been saved but you need the right virtues to remain so, do not neglect knowledge, especially that which is in God’s Word. Maintain your salvation by following His directions.
Talk to God: Father, help me to build rightly on your solid foundation for my salvation to remain certain in Jesus name, amen.
