2 Peter 1:10 “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:”
In addition to the virtues we must couple with faith, efforts must be made to make one’s calling and election sure and that, done with all diligence. Standing in God takes will and conscious practices.
Note how the Bible says if you ‘do’ not ‘have done’ these things, your efforts to remain saved must be made in continuity. Do not stop working your salvation with fear and trembling.
Talk to God: Father, help me to be diligent in maintaining my walk with you in Jesus name, amen.
