Exodus 3:4 “And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.”

God’s methods are divine, He selects His unique vessels through processes that are difficult for man to understand, one such pattern is the purposeful interruption. Moses was going about his father-in-law’s business before he ‘turned aside’ (vs. 1-3).

Some paths God allows you to thread are not your purpose, there might just be leading to it. Perhaps, after decades of leaving Egypt, Moses had gotten used to the life of a shepherd, but God had a greater agenda that would interrupt his. If you must be used by God, He would interrupt you, divinely for His purpose.

Talk to God: Father, affect my life, may I never refuse your purposeful interruption in Jesus’ name, amen!
