James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”.
One of the quickest ways to destruction is to attempt cover one’s sin rather than confess it. God is not mocked, He sees all things but He wants us to acknowledge and take responsibility of our sin.
When Christ died on the cross, it was in public, believers must learn to strip their sin naked before it strips them. Do not cover your sin, nail it to the public cross, confess to God, let the brethren pray for you.
Talk to God: Father, help me never to try to cover my sins in Jesus name, amen.
