Philippians 3:7 “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.”
The cross of Christ is a symbol of our connection to Him, everyone who carries his own cross is a follower of His example, but the cross comes at a cost.
For you to be able to carry the cross, you need to let go of other burdens that could weigh you down, even if they seem to be gain to you. Follow Jesus.
Talk to God: Father, help me to neglect everything else, carry my cross and follow Jesus, amen.
