Matthew 5:14 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
The Bible is clear, Christ is the light of the world (John 1:9), and while He was on earth, He started making disciples who were in His likeness, such that they became as He was, in like manner, we are as He is, the light.
The nature of the Father has been extended to you through Christ, so that you can be made after His very own pattern. “A city set on an hill… “, God made you to showcase His ability without any reason to hide; are you living up to His expectations?
Talk to God: Father, help me to live up to your expectations for me in Jesus’ name, amen.
