1 Samuel 16:7b “…for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”
God’s dwelling place in us is our heart, He therefore considers it before putting any man into His use. A characteristic possession of every purposeful life is a yielding heart.
Consider the parable of the sower, Christ makes it clear that as powerful as the Word is, it still requires the right kind of heart to make it germinate and bear fruits. For you to fulfil purpose, do not harden your heart, let God see the willingness to do His will in the content of your heart.
Talk to God: Father, my heart is your dwelling place, purge it of all unrighteousness in Jesus’ name, amen.
