Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
II Corinthians 7:10 shows that godly sorrow brings repentance. God is mindful of those who regret their sins, forsake them and repent. These will receive mercy from Him.
Today’s text also says that the mourners will be comforted, when you run back to God in repentance after sinning, He will deliver you in His Mercy.
Talk to God: Father, help me to overcome the grip of sin against my life in Jesus name, amen.
