Topic: The Allegiance
Hebrews 4:14 “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”
Every believer must have at a point confessed with his own mouth before being saved, this marked the beginning of a new life but it was not meant to end there. There is a deeper profession (an allegiance) we take when we become fully persuaded in God.
Those who came this far in the Bible knew their God and were ready to go any length, convinced nothing would be enough to sway them off righteousness path (Rom. 8:38). You can as well make your mind up today and be covenanted in an allegiance to Christ, it pays.
Talk to God: Father, help me to hold fast to my profession in you in Jesus name, amen.
