Romans 8:29 “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
The adoption we talk about is that which set us apart to be ‘firstborn among many brethren’. The process of adoption is not in anyway a matter of luck or ‘by chance’, it was designed and implemented by God and only Him.
What does ‘among many brethren’ tell you? Not all has been predestined to conform to His image, not all can therefore be God’s heir. This is a special privilege that should not be taken for granted. God chose you!
Talk to God: Father, help me to see the clear picture of your predestination in Jesus name, amen.
