John 15:3 “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”
We have examined how God requires purity in His vessels, the words of Christ in this opening text makes it clear that the Word of God cleanses.
When you daily expose your heart to the truth of God’s Word, its cleansing power acts on you, and you are made clean. If anyone claims to daily read the Bible without any impact on them, they must have been reading without having a true heartfelt contact with it, do not be superficial.
Talk to God: Father, as I receive your Word into my heart, let it clean me completely in Jesus’ name, amen.
