II Timothy 2:23-24 ESV “Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,”
“I called you to win souls, not arguments” these were the words in a cartoon story as Christ held a believer off a frantic argument scene. Our calling is unique, not to be tarnished.
Sometimes, you might find your soul winning attempt turning into an argument, especially when you do not allow the Holy Spirit take charge, you need to remember the words of today’s text. You are not called unto striving.
Talk to God: Father, help me to focus on your in my mission of soul winning in Jesus name, amen.
