Theme: Divine Rest
Topic: Rest from Vain Labour
Psalms 127:1 “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
A grievous torment that people of the world face is vain labour, where a man labours a lot but have little or none to show for it. This is never part of God’s plan for anyone.
God, who is the giver of rest wants everyone to partake in it. As a believer, the escape route from vain labour is to first seek God’s consent and help before attempting a feat. May you not labour in vain.
Talk to God: Father, I declare that by your grace and mercy I shall in no wise labour in vain in Jesus name, amen.
