Philippians 2:12 “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
Whereas we are saved by grace, the grace of God continues to abound upon those who make efforts to remain in Him, and do so trusting in Him. We must have the understanding that faith and grace have not given us the license to be complacent, salvation is a living prospect.
Beloved, once saved is not forever saved, you need to continue to be saved. The grace of God is upon you to continue abiding in God’s will and doing them, inasmuch as you too, are willing and are working towards it. Do not slack in pursuing daily salvation.
Talk to God: Father, teach me to keep working out my salvation with fear and trembling in Jesus’ name, amen.
