Ephesians 5:8 “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”
As the Spirit is to light so is the flesh to darkness, there is a natural inclination of the flesh not to please God and we know that everything that would not associate with the light is darkness, hence the constant battle between the flesh and the Spirit.
Remaining in the light calls for breaking the affinity for darkness. It is an intentional act that must be continually carried out. Make a decision to remain in the light and consciously refuse darkness.
Talk to God: Father, sustain me in your light by grace in Jesus’ name, amen.
