Topic: Purpose and Self Sacrifice
Psalms 69:9 “For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.”
As one continues in the journey of purpose with God, He begins to make it clearer that, purpose takes more than the will to do, but also the will to be used. Self sacrifice involves surrendering one’s will for His to be done.
Gideon did not grow up as a man of war, but the purpose of God brought out the best in him, after he had submitted to His will. Purpose might not always require you to make things happen but instead, to be made.
Talk to God: Father, help me to sacrifice myself in fulfilling your purpose in Jesus’ name, amen.
