Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
A part of fulfilling purpose we cannot deny is service to God. We may also infer from this opening text that service does not come without self sacrifice. This is what God requires from everyone that will fit into His purpose.
The selflessness with which Christ surrendered His life should be an example for you in fulfilling purpose. As a sacrifice is presented void of its will, so should you be given to the Master’s use.
Talk to God: Father, the life I live is yours, help me remain a sacrifice to you in Jesus’ name.
