Topic: Purification by the Anointing
Exodus 40:9 “And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.”
Another function the anointing has upon anointed vessels is that it purifies them. Isaiah had a similar encounter as he was called into God’s service (Ish 6). God does not associate with impurity and so He purges all who will work in His vineyard.
When you receive the anointing and submit yourself to God, He purges you of any impurity. Beyond any physical anointing oil, the blood of Jesus washes clean. Plead the blood!
Talk to God: Father, sprinkle my life with the blood of Jesus, purge me of all impurity, amen.
