Topic: Praying for the Nation
Psalms 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”
One of our duties to our nation as believers is to pray for its peace. Many of us may seem not to be concerned about the crisis and unrest that befall some parts of our nation because we are not ‘affected’ by them, but those souls lost are the ones Christ sent us to go forth and preach to.
Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean, your prayers are not in vain. When you intercede for a nation, you are playing your role as a watchman (Ezekiel 33:7). You shall prosper for loving your Jerusalem.
Talk to God: Father, please intervene in the situation of this nation in Jesus’ name, amen.
