Topic: Praying for God’s Will
1 John 3:22 “And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”
The bible is clear about how our prayers should be themed after God’s will. It is a pity that many prayers today are not even said with the consciousness of God.
Some pray because they are told to, or because others are praying, others do because it is a routine. The bottom line is, if the content is not in line with God’s will, it is not worth praying. Find God’s will, know it, pray after it.
Talk to God: Father, help me to understand fully the importance of praying for your will in Jesus’ name, amen.
