Topic: Persisting in Praise
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
It takes time to learn and master good habits, the lifestyle of praise and worship inclusive. If we want to relate with God in a continual communion, it starts with a deliberate dedication to constantly honour Him.
It is naturally in your makeup as a human to get used to things you practise more often. As the last four words of today’s text says “think on these things”. Let praise be your mindset, it would then be easier to persist in it.
Talk to God: Father, help me to make praise my mindset in Jesus name, amen.
