Do you think Goliath will still want to fight David if he knew how powerful the God behind David is? The answer, Goliath will still fight! Satan will always put up a fight even when he knew he has no chance of winning. The essence of his fight is not to win, it is to instill fear in us. As long as we are afraid, his tactics are working!
So, when awkward moment approach and fear is in sight, I want you to remember that God already said; “Fear not!” several times because He knew we will face situations that will disarm our confidence. And remember, being afraid means a direct disobedience to God’s commandment. Why will you give room to fear when you can pray?
