Genesis 18:19 “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord , to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.”
God instituted family to be the first unit of any society and places the parents to serve as its head. As God guides us being His children, He expects the same of us to our offspring.
As a parent or aspiring parent, it is, or will be your responsibility to guide your children to serve God and live for Him. Can God boast of you like He did of Abraham in today’s text?
Talk to God: Father, help me to raise children that will fear you in Jesus name, amen.
