Topic: Overcoming Doubt
Matthew 14:31 “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”
The preceding verse of this opening text tells us how Peter began to sink after walking on the water, it includes that when this happened, he cried out to Jesus: this is the first step in overcoming doubt, calling on Jesus.
Immediately, Jesus caught him by the hand, the same way He would do for you. He saved Peter but rebuked the doubt in his life. If He did not, He would have probably had to carry him back to the ship. If you have any doubts consuming your faith, call on Christ!
Talk to God: Father, please rebuke doubt in my life in Jesus name, amen.
