Genesis 12:7 “And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.”
In our journey of covenant with God, He brings us to milestones that reassure us of His promise and realign us to His will. These points may serve as checkpoints for our lives but are never the destination.
Abraham got to a milestone but did stop there. Do not be carried away by what you achieve at a point, keep following the One who will lead you home.
Talk to God: Father, help me not to be carried away by what I see as I follow you in the journey of covenant, amen.
