Deuteronomy 32:15 “But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked… then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.”
When God gives us divine rest, there is still need to be careful not to misuse it or let it slip away. God resists the proud, so pride is a way of telling Him to stay away.
There is no rest for those who forsake God, He is the only true source of it. Wherever He takes you, He still needs to support you. Do not forsake God.
Talk to God: Father, I am sure you will not forsake me, let me never stray away from you in Jesus name, amen.
