Esther 9:16 “But the other Jews that were in the king’s provinces gathered themselves together, and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and slew of their foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey,”
It does not take God anything to elevate a man, or to give him divine rest. However, God knows the end of a thing before its beginning, and so it becomes a matter of the heart, before God delivers rest unto a man.
In today’s text, when the Jews found rest, they conquered their enemies but were not after the spoil. What would you do when He gives you rest? Prepare your heart.
Talk to God: Father, help me to remain faithful to you irrespective of how high you lift me in Jesus name, amen.
