Matthew 7:22 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?”
God delights in His children doing exploits in the Name of Jesus, but more importantly, He desires a relationship with them.
Jesus confirms in the succeeding verse of today’s text that some who would have done exploits in His name might still not be known to Him. Whatever you might have achieved in that name, still ensure that your own soul remains saved, it is what matters most.
Talk to God: Father, after all my exploits on earth, help me not to miss heaven.
