Matthew 7:22 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?”
Because the gifts of God are without repentance, it is possible to do exploits with the name of Jesus and still miss out on salvation.
Many will be as those Christ described in today’s text, making impact but not impacted by the name of Jesus. Remember the significance of the name is salvation from sin, make impact and be impacted.
Talk to God: Father, let the name of Jesus affect my life in Jesus name, amen.
