Matthew 4:10 “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
God is a jealous God, His glory He would not share with anyone. There is no man, angel, principality nor object worthy of receiving worship, it belongs to God.
When you attempt to glorify man rather than God, you endanger yourself and even the man in question, unless he rejects it. If God has used His servant for you, appreciate the man but you, and likewise him, must remember to return the glory to God, He deserves it.
Talk to God: Father, let all the glory be to you over my life in Jesus name, amen.
