john 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
The Word of God here reveals to us the lifelessness in staying independent of Him. Everything we may refer to as glory, true glory comes from God through Christ Jesus and so obtaining it can never be possible unless we abide in Him and let Him abide in us.
‘Abide’ as a word does not refer to a temporary stay, it means a continuous living in. The more you abide in Christ and Him in you, the more like Him you become; meaning the more glorious the life you live. Have you let Him in?
Talk to God: Lord Jesus, come abide in me, help me to sacrifice everything else for your glory. Amen.
