Hebrews 11:17 “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,”
In Genesis 12:2, Abraham asked God what He would give him because he was childless, this gives a glimpse of how difficult it would have been to offer this same child as a sacrifice. But Abraham trusted God beyond what could be seen.
Beloved, being in covenant with God means anchoring your faith on who He is. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Talk to God: Father, help me to anchor my faith on you in Jesus name, amen.
