Isaiah 43:18 “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”
For something new to come to play, we often need to let go of the burdens of the past which could be uneasy and unnecessary weights for the new things God wants to place in our hands.
Beloved, you cannot hold on to the past and expect the future to slide in, but you can hold on to the One who sees both alike, and He can bring you new things. Trust God to do it for you!
Father I trust in you, deliver me from the burdens of my past in Jesus name, amen.
