Luke 4:13 “And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.”
Our adversary the devil never stops to seek who he may devour. Today’s text shows, however, that he might for a season leave a believer, not because he would not attempt his devices again but so that he might strike at a time the believer relaxes.
Now, a part time believer cannot defeat a fulltime devil, this is why you must never relent. Be sober, be vigilant.
Talk to God: Father, help me never to slack in my journey of faith in Jesus name, amen.
