Genesis 19:26 “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”
This opening text reminds us of a person who lost focus while she should have been following God’s pace, it led to a loss of life. Most times we suppose we have enough for self sustenance or even consider ourselves wise. This leads into calamities and disappointment.
Have you truly considered the reality of God’s surpassing wisdom and knowledge? It might be often illogical or unreasonable to man because God exceeds what our reasoning or logic could unravel. This should give you more reasons to trust Him. Follow His pace!
Talk to God: Father, give me grace to always put you before everything else in Jesus name, amen.
