Topic: Focus on Abiding 3
John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
The True Vine is saying to the branches, “abide, so you can bear fruit”, there is no other way to be fruitful if we do not abide in Christ. He says without Him, we can do nothing. Hence, every service, every activity without first abiding in Christ is NOTHING.
Looking deeper into the word here, there is a reciprocal approach of Christ abiding in those who choose to abide in Him, this is what brings forth “much fruit”. Abide in Him and let Him abide in you.
Talk to God: Father, I open my heart for you to abide in me, come in, in Jesus name, amen.
