Ephesians 2:8 ‘For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:’
Titus 2:11 tells us that God’s saving grace is available to everybody, we understand from this opening text that this grace is only accessible through faith: our belief and confession of Christ Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
The Bible continues here to say, ‘not of yourselves’. You came to this salvation not because of your self confidence or reliance but the grace of God, acknowledged by faith. If so, this faith is the foundation you must remain standing on.
Talk to God: Father, please stand my feet upon your solid foundation in Jesus name, amen.
