Hebrews 4:2 ‘For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it’.
Faith is the path through which we connect to God’s saving grace and faith comes when a man comes in contact with the Word. It is however possible to have the Word but not allow faith process it. It is like eating without digesting the food.
Faith acts upon the Word of God. When you receive the Word of God, you need to be conscious of its potency and agree with it to work in you. Do not allow the Word to be ineffective in you, the Word works wonders when mixed with faith!
Talk to God: Father, help me to act upon your word with faith in Jesus name. Amen.
