Faith and Hope

Hebrews 6:19 ‘Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;’

Faith and hope are two words people often wrongly use interchangeably. Whereas faith is an unruffled assurance, hope is an expectation that anchors the soul, a factor that keeps one expectant, established in the premise of faith.

You can only hope truly when your faith is established. Think of it this way, no one ever expects a mango fruit from an orange tree. Faith is accepting that a planted tree will fruit. Hope is expecting the fruit. It anchors your heart on that very belief. The foundation is faith, do not ignore that.

Talk to God: My hope is built on you, encourage my heart in Jesus name, amen.
