The event of man’s fall in Genesis 3 sentenced all men to guilt and enmity with God. Thanks be to God for His love that He sent Christ as an atonement. Have you realized that no man in himself retains the ability to please God independently of God Himself, hence the need for our justification and purification by Him.
Someone rightly illustrated that God doesn’t use the ‘good’, because the good usually feel too good to be used. He chooses the ones people consider bad, purifies them and justifies them for His use. May we never imagine ourselves too God for this process.
