John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
The world is not our place of rest, in fact, Christ said that we would have tribulation in the world, still He wants us to have peace, and as such gives us His word.
Christ has overcome the world, you can bank on this, but also this teaches you to set your sight on a peace that lasts eternally, a life in His Kingdom.
