Mark 9:24 “And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”
One factor that disqualifies many from engaging the power in God’s word is unbelief, this is because faith is a prerequisite for the Word to work in one’s life. It is just the same way a viable seed would not fruit if not planted on a good ground.
Dearly beloved, the Word works wonders when applied in faith but it is mere blabbing to an unbeliever. If you want to experience this power, cry out to God as the man in this opening text, let unbelief not stand in your way.
Talk to God: Father, help me to have unflinching faith in your Word in Jesus name, amen.
